BRASSALL'S Christmas in the Park is an event not to be missed.

Christmas carols will echo across Suttons Park from 6pm on November 30, and Santa will visit, for the benefit of the kids.

Cr Cheryl Bromage said the event, which had run for 17 years, had become a tradition for many families.

This year there would be a "celebration" theme.

"There will be many more spectacular voices of our locals this year including crowd favourite, Thomas Doherty from the smash hit musical Billy Elliott, the outstanding rhythms and melodies of the RSL Youth and Community Band and the joyful voices of many local choirs," Cr Bromage said.
