Case adjourned for Coonarr murder accused

A COURT case involving the murder of a 44-year-old man at Coonarr last month will be heard at Bundaberg Magistrates Court in October.

Jason Errol Gerhardt, 42 of Woodridge, has been charged with murder.

His case was briefly mentioned at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday when the case was transferred to Bundaberg. Mr Gerhardt was remanded in custody.

He has been charged with the stabbing murder of the 44-year-old man which allegedly occurred during an altercation just after 2am on August 1 at a Coonarr Rd address near Bundaberg.

The case will be mentioned in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on October 15. At this stage he is not required to appear at court on that day.
