Car collided with Kawana home

A PRICE Ave resident was given a rude wake-up call on the weekend, with a car rolling into their house in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A Queensland Police spokesperson said the crash happened about 11.45pm Saturday but was not reported to police until about 2am Sunday.

They said the 25-year-old driver of the vehicle had left it unattended without the handbrake on.

The vehicle rolled into a house across the road, but the driver was not in the vehicle at the time.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said the house received only minor structural damage.
