GYMPIE country music sensation Caitlyn Shadbolt's recent Main Stage performance at the Gympie Muster has had her star rise further.

The pop-country and X Factor 2014 Top 5 finalist sold more of her new self-titled debut EP to fans at the on-ground Muster store than any other artist, just days after the EP's release.

As a result, the EP and single, Shoot Out The Lights, are climbing the charts.

The 19-year-old is holding the #1 position on the Music Network's Australian Country Music chart and #3 on the CMC Video chart.

Caitlyn said she was thankful for the support of the Gympie community who helped her CD top the sales at the local Sanity store.

"I'm definitely excited," Caitlyn said. "Particularly about the number one, it was unexpected.

"I was just excited to be on the charts but didn't think it would go to number one that quick."

Caitlyn has just been announced as part of Channel 9's Today Show on September 30, where she will perform Shoot Out The Lights live, as part of their broadcast from Longreach.

With demand continuing to build for her live appearances, Caitlyn and ABC Music stablemate, Travis Collins, will be joined by 2015 Toyota Starmaker winner Mickey Pye under the banner of Un-Wired, playing a run of acoustic shows in venues across Queensland and NSW from September to December.

Caitlyn will return to play the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2016, and be part of the incredible line-up on CMC Rocks Qld 2016 where she will perform alongside artists such as Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Lee Brice.
