UPDATE: Doug Sanderson, manager of Station Square Shopping Centre, said it was great to see so many winning tickets being sold at the centre's newsagent.
"It's sold a number of winners over the years," he said.
It is a dream come true for one lucky Hervey Bay family, who won $1.3 million in Saturday's Gold Lotto draw.
The ticket was purchased at newsXpress.
Mr Sanderson said people had also had success with scratchies at the news agent.
He said the news agency definitely had a reputation as being lucky.
Mr Sanderson said with another huge jackpot coming up with Thursday's $35 million draw, he was expecting there would be plenty of people looking to get a lucky ticket ahead of the draw.
- In January this year, a Hervey Bay couple claimed $70 million in a Powerball draw
- A Maryborough man won $1,060,000 in April 2011
- Hervey Bay residents claimed $1.4 million after winning Gold Lotto in May 2014

EARLIER: IT'S a dream come true for one lucky Hervey Bay family, who won $1.3 million in Saturday's Gold Lotto draw.
The superdraw was worth $20 million and the family's private syndicate entry netted them the prize.
The winning mum said she walked around her house in a state of disbelief after checking her entry.
"Every Saturday night I watch the draw and write the winning numbers down and then I check our ticket," she said.
"I was stunned when I saw the winning numbers on our ticket.
"I was home alone at the time and I had no one to tell so I picked up the phone and tried to call my kids.
"It took me a little while but I finally got in contact with my daughter and she was so excited.
"My adult kids and I have been playing Gold Lotto together for about 12 months now. We all put money in and share the cost of a ticket each week.
"I've always said to my kids that I'd win Gold Lotto one day and now I have and best of all I'm sharing it with them.
"As a mum you only ever want the best for your kids so this is really a dream come true for me."
The winners have chosen to remain anonymous.
The ticket was purchased at newsXpress at Station Square.
Jason Greer from newsXpress said not only had they sold that winning ticket, but several others in recent times, including a division two win that earned the 16 members of the syndicate almost $900 each and a division 3 win in Powerball that paid $6000.
