'Anybody can beat anybody,' warns Lowe

PERTH Glory coach Kenny Lowe says the Wellington Phoenix will be no easybeats despite them not winning a game in five outings this season.

The Glory travel east for the "long-distance derby” at Westpac Stadium tomorrow full of confidence after last week's 1-0 win over Adelaide United.

Perth sit fifth, with the Phoenix on the bottom with two draws and three defeats.

The Glory have not been beaten by their New Zealand opponents in their past five matches.

Lowe was reading nothing into that and said getting the three points would not be easy.

"History is history, it doesn't really matter,” he said of the Glory's recent record.

"It's all about this game. We're buoyant, we're scoring goals and we are upbeat about hopefully going there and getting three points.

"The thing about this league is anybody can beat anybody.”
