Another single-vehicle crash sends teenager to hospital

POLICE are investigating following a single vehicle traffic crash on Shirley Street, Southport.

Initial investigations indicate shortly after midnight a vehicle was travelling south on Shirley Street when the vehicle has hit a parked car and then crashed into a fence.

A 17-year-old man has been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

A 17-year-old male passenger did not receive any injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
