Men's sheds score funding boon on Father's Day

MEN'S Sheds across the country scored a $4.5m Father's Day present yesterday.

The Federal Government confirmed the three-year funding promise as dads across the nation were celebrated by their kids.

Funding for the program was to end on June 30.

The money can be used to maintain Men's Shed facilities, buy tools or pay for projects.

Men's Sheds help lower social isolation for older men and those living in rural and remote areas.
