Donald Trump spared having to serve jury duty

POSSIBLY the most opinionated of the Republican candidates for the US presidency, Donald Trump has been spared jury duty.

The billionaire tycoon obeyed the call to attend the New York State Supreme Court but was not picked to serve.

That would have been welcome news to any defendants from south of the US border awaiting their turn in the court, given Trump's campaign attack on Mexican immigrants as drug dealers, criminals and rapists.
