Chris Froome set to win Criterium du Dauphine

ENGLAND'S Chris Froome looked set to win a third successive Criterium du Dauphine title for Team Sky ahead of the eighth and final stage overnight.

Froome had a 51-second lead over teammate, Aussie Richie Porte, before the 155.5km ride from Sisteron to Risou.

Another Aussie, Michael Rogers (Saxo-Tinkoff), was third, 46 seconds behind Porte.
