16-year-old girl charged with skate park stabbing

A 16-year-old girl has been charged with stabbing another girl the same age at a skate park north of Brisbane.

Police believe an argument at 10.40pm on Saturday night led to one stabbing the other multiple times in the chest and shoulder at the Oxley Avenue park in Redcliffe.

She was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for treatment.

The other was charged with unlawful wounding.
