CHRISTMAS is now only weeks away, and to help you get into the festive spirit, here is a list of some of the holiday events which will be held in the Scenic Rim.

 

Boonah Show Ball Xmas Dinner Dance

Saturday, December 1 from 6-8pm at the Roadvale School of Arts, Roadvale.

THE community will gather for a two course dinner and fun night of dancing.

Guests will also have the opportunity to win some prizes, with prizes going to the best themed outfit.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children.

Community Christmas Fair

Sunday, December 2 from 11am-3pm at Ivory's Rock, Peak Crossing.

THIS family-friendly activity includes free entry, a visit from Santa, inflatable water slides, bucking bull ride, face painting, craft, slime making, live entertainment and more.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day.

This event is hosted by Ivory's Rock and the Harrisville Community Hub.

Christmas Market

Saturday, December 8 from 9am-noon at the Beaudesert Uniting Church, 48 William St, Beaudesert.

IF you are looking for that special gift, head down to the Christmas Markets. There will be plants, craft, baked goods, bric-a-brac and more for you to browse.

Money raised from the day will be donated to Blue Care in Beaudesert and the Beaudesert Uniting Church.

Boonah Christmas Street Festival

Thursday, December 13 from 6-11pm in High St, Boonah.

STREET performers will make their way down through Boonah's High Street, as well as floats made by local residents.

There will also be plenty of music, food and more.

A percentage of funds will go to support local farmers.

It is free to attend.

 

Christmas with Karen Knowles

Friday, December 14 from 11-noon at the Boonah Cultural Centre.

KAREN Knowles, who is a gold and platinum award winner, will be delighting fans at her performance in Boonah.

Karen started her career on Young Talent Time and became the highest selling Australian female recording artist for two consecutive years.
