THE title of Ipswich Musical Theatre Company's upcoming show is, well actually, [title of show].

It's a one-act presentation, with music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen.

The show chronicles its own creation as an entry in the New York Music Festival and follows the struggles of the author and composer/lyricist and their two actress friends.

Musical director Miriam Slattery issues a word of warning.

"This show is not suitable for children, or adults who are easily offended by partial nudity or frequent coarse language," she said.

Director of the show is Jan Paterson.

Performance dates are February 8, 9, 15 and 16 at the Old Ipswich Courthouse (corner of Roderick and East Sts) starting at 7.30pm.

Book online at the Ipswich Musical Theatre Company's website.
