Police hunt stolen white BMW

POLICE are looking for four men in a stolen white BMW believed to be linked to a number of robberies in Ipswich this weekend.

At 11.15am today a torched stolen Mercedes was found burnt out on Robin St, Chuwar, and initial investigations suggest the cars were stolen together.

Police say the vehicles had been allegedly used in a number of home invasions in Karana Downs over the weekend - where handbags and other personal items were stolen.

Police are looking for four males in a car, with alleged stolen number plates 572 GBT attached.

The car has chrome wheels and is a BMW 2001 530i model and may be heading along the Warrego Hwy.
