Meat market serves up a winner

A TASTE-TEST confirms why Mega Meats is now displaying a gold trophy won for best "wet dish" at the state's Butchers Choice Awards.

The freshly prepared chicken korma is delicious.

Store manager Simon Neller said the dish had been selling well for about two months.

"The judges said we won hands down," he said.

"No one's flavour compared to ours."

Mr Neller said chicken korma was popular with customers.

"Everyone wants to try it," he said.

"It's a quick and easy meal.

"You just cook it, with a bit of rice. You don't have to add anything."

Mr Neller wasn't revealing his secret winning recipe.

The store at shop 2/116 Brisbane Rd, Booval, has been operating for nine years.
