The creators of the beloved "Toy Story" films re-open the toy box and bring moviegoers back to the delightful world of Woody, Buzz and our favorite gang of toy characters in this third installment. Lee Unkrich directs this highly anticipated film, and Michael Arndt, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter of "Little Miss Sunshine" brings his unique talents and comedic sensibilities to the proceedings.

Emerging 11 years after the series' previous instalment, there's no reason to fear Toy Story 3. It's hard to imagine a better, more satisfying entry in (and possible ending to) the series.
While Toy Story 2's ending was satisfying in 1999, following it up doesn't undermine it so much as prove just how naIve we were, and how temporary the 'happy' in its happy ending. Andy was growing up, and he would out-grow his toys.
Given they are now outgrown, the film has some genuinely affecting moments. But this sadness doesn't weigh it down. In fact, it is, without a doubt, Pixar's funniest. A toy, a tortilla wrap and a pigeon make for one of the most side-splitting sight gags ever committed to film.
While obviously tailor-made for the generation of kids who grew up with the first films, and are now venturing off into the wide world without their toys — the appeal of Toy Story 3 is wide. The script is (subtly) mature, the colours are vibrant, and while it is longer than its predecessors, blink and it's over. So, savour it.
Or see it twice.
WHAT fresh outrage and hilarity can we expect from Sacha Baron Cohen in his latest transformation?
